Personal Details
Born in 1964 in Wippra (now Saxony-Anhalt).
Following A Levels (High School Leaving Diploma) and subsequent military service, commenced a degree course in Slavic Studies at the Humboldt University in Berlin in 1985. Graduated in 1989.
First professional experience in 1989 in the Eastern Europe Department of a State Foreign Trade Company in Berlin. Simultaneous two-year further education in Distribution Management.
From 1993 to 2000 Sales Manager for Eastern Europe at the Berlin-based company Berliner Bärensiegel GmbH.
Founded own company in 2000. Married with two children.
